I recently found you YouTube channel, and have been binging you videos while quarantined.
I given a Gerber PARAFRAME I - STAINLESS, SERRATED pocket knife years ago as a gift. I carry it with me almost everywhere, and I abuse it. Just yesterday I was tiling my garden and hit a few tree roots and used my knife to saw through them, using the serrated part. How would you sharpen the serrated part of the blade? I've used the round kitchen knife sharpener with mixed results.
Thanks,
Curtis

Theres sharpening stones made just for serrated blades. The ones ive seen are usually ceramic rods. I dont sharpen serrated blades so can't really comment on technique, or what's best. But, from what I know, you do need rods of the appropriate size for the serrations. Otherwise, the sharpening would be the same as another knife. Apex, form a burr, and remove the burr. Hope this helps 🙂
